Michelin has unveiled the 2026 edition of the MICHELIN Guide Nordic Countries, showcasing the region’s culinary elite with 286 recommended restaurants. The guide highlights six Three MICHELIN Stars, 15 Two MICHELIN Stars, and 78 One MICHELIN Stars, alongside 48 Bib Gourmand picks for exceptional value.

A standout achievement is Kadeau Copenhagen’s promotion from Two to Three Stars, marking the first time a Nordic restaurant has ascended to the top tier under the leadership of self-taught chef Nicolai Nørregaard. The restaurant’s cuisine, rooted in Bornholm’s seasonal produce, blends poetic simplicity with surgical precision, earning praise for its harmony and relaxed ambiance.
Two other restaurants—Gaptrast in Norway and Grön in Finland—also earned Two Stars, while nine new entries joined the One-Star roster. The guide’s expansion includes 23 fresh faces: seven One Stars, four Bib Gourmands, and 12 additions to the Main Selection.
The Nordic dining scene continues to thrive, with nearly a third of new entries debuting at One-Star level, underscoring the region’s relentless culinary innovation. The 2026 edition reflects the MICHELIN Guide’s commitment to celebrating both established excellence and emerging talent across Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
