Rolls-Royce’s Latest Phantom Regatta Redefines the Land Yacht

Rolls-Royce has just unveiled the Phantom Regatta, a one-off ultra-luxury sedan that lives up to the term “land yacht” in every sense.

Commissioned as a tribute to racing yachts of England’s South Coast, the Phantom Regatta is based on the Phantom Extended and stretches 235.5 inches (5,982 mm) long—nearly a foot longer than a Cadillac Escalade ESV.

The exterior features a striking two-tone paint job in Regatta Blue and English White, with the color transition mimicking the waterline of a yacht’s hull. Polished 22-inch disc wheels and bright chrome accents add to the nautical flair. Inside, the cabin is a masterclass in bespoke luxury.

The driver’s area is trimmed in Navy Blue leather with Grace White stitching, piping, and a two-tone steering wheel, while the rear seats are upholstered in Grace White with Navy Blue piping.

White vent surrounds and a hand-painted Gallery panel titled “Watercolour” further enhance the ocean-inspired theme.

The rear passenger compartment includes two individual seats separated by a wood-trimmed center console with a chevron pattern. The pièce de résistance?

Handcrafted rear picnic tables designed to resemble yacht decks, each taking 120 hours to build using 16 planks of Royal Walnut and thin strips of Black Bolivar.

Additional bespoke touches include illuminated door panels and a Starlight Headliner featuring 1,307 fiber optic ‘stars’ that mimic the swirling tidal currents around the Isle of Wight. The Phantom Regatta will make its world debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

While Rolls-Royce has not confirmed the price, the model is expected to feature the brand’s iconic twin-turbo 6.75-liter V12 engine, rated at 563 HP (420 kW / 571 PS) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque.

This powertrain propels the Phantom Extended to 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 5.2 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
