Genesis has finally lifted the curtain on the interior of its Magma GT concept, revealing a cabin that blends luxury with performance in a way few mid-engine supercars dare to attempt. Unveiled at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the updated concept ditches the blacked-out windows and bare-bones prototype vibe it debuted with last November, replacing it with a fully realized, tactile interior that feels both opulent and driver-focused. The company bills the Magma GT as a “luxury grand tourer,” and the cabin lives up to that promise with a refined yet immersive experience that balances craftsmanship, comfort, and performance. The interior eschews the trend of massive touchscreens in favor of analog controls and timepiece-inspired displays, creating a cockpit that feels familiar rather than futuristic. The center console rises dramatically from the floor, flowing into a dashboard that wraps around the doors in two tiers, all accented by subtle ambient lighting. The surfaces are a mix of heavily quilted leather and microsuede, while the bucket seats look plush enough to rival grand tourers, let alone supercars. The Magma GT’s butterfly doors open to reveal intricate pull handles and clever storage compartments, while the thick door sills hint at a carbon-fiber monocoque structure.

Behind the wheel, the setup is refreshingly analog: a simple steering wheel with tactile turn signal buttons, rotary controls for volume and display adjustments, and chunky metal paddle shifters. A single round gauge dominates the driver’s view, combining an analog tachometer with smaller circular displays inside it. Floating above the dashboard are three additional round screens for speed, g-forces, and other key vehicle data—a layout Genesis confirms will appear in upcoming road cars like the GV90. The center console features a small rectangular infotainment screen, physical knobs for temperature control, and a row of genuine toggle switches. Behind a discreet storage cubby sits a vintage-style gated shifter, its design enhanced by ambient lighting. Other thoughtful details include door sill plates engraved with the word “Magma” in Korean, oversized window switches, and what appear to be round roof air vents. Outside, the Magma GT’s exterior tweaks are subtle but effective.

The side window shape has been refined, while the door cutline remains unchanged. A new V-shaped lip tops the rear end as the CHMSL, and the taillights feature a more polished design. The diffuser is more sculpted, the central exhaust has a slightly revised look, and the front fender vents are more intricate. These changes make the concept look even more production-ready than it did eight months ago. And then there’s the paint—Genesis has clad the Magma GT in a stunning, deep green hue that’s as eye-catching as it is elegant. The updated Magma GT was shown alongside the Magma GT3 concept, a preview of the race car version, which looks just as track-ready as it is visually striking. Genesis also debuted two new drivable versions of the X Gran Convertible concept, further proving the brand’s push into high-profile, experiential launches.
