Struktol to Spotlight Advanced Processing Additive at Global Polymer Summit 2026

Struktol Company of America, part of the Schill+Seilacher group, will feature its new Struktol FM 126 rubber processing additive at the Global Polymer Summit 2026 (GPS26) in Louisville, Kentucky. The additive is designed to improve rubber mixing efficiency and overall processing performance by promoting faster filler incorporation and enhanced dispersion of carbon black, silica, and other mineral fillers. According to Struktol, the additive can lower compound viscosity and improve flow, helping to reduce mixing time, consolidate mixing stages, and increase throughput while maintaining high-quality surface finish and reliable performance across a wide range of elastomers. Struktol director of technology-rubber/sales Mayu Si will present a paper on the benefits of advanced processing-aid technology, including labour and energy requirements of multi-stage mixing in rubber compounding operations, and how it can enable mixing-stage reduction by enhancing filler dispersion, reducing compound viscosity, and maintaining compound physical properties. The presentation will also discuss how such improvements can create new opportunities to lower production costs and improve operational efficiency on the factory floor.
