Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio get 2027 upgrades: more power, sharper styling, and fresh tech

Maserati’s GranTurismo and GranCabrio receive a comprehensive 2027 refresh, featuring a broader rollout of the 3.0-liter twin-turbo Nettuno V6, sharper exterior styling, and a suite of interior upgrades.

The Nettuno V6, now standard across the range, delivers 483 HP and 442 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque in base models, pushing the GranCabrio to a 186 mph (300 km/h) top speed and the GranTurismo to 188 mph (302 km/h).

The Trofeo variants step up with an upgraded Nettuno V6 producing 582 HP and 457 lb-ft (620 Nm) of torque, boosting the GranCabrio to 196 mph (316 km/h) and the GranTurismo to 199 mph (320 km/h).

The all-electric Folgore models remain in the lineup, powered by three electric motors and a 92.5 kWh battery, churning out 751 HP and 995 lb-ft (1,349 Nm) of torque.

The Folgore hardtop tops out at 202 mph (325 km/h), while the convertible peaks at 180 mph (290 km/h).

Despite a slight range bump to 249 miles (401 km) on a full charge, the Folgore’s real-world usability is still limited compared to the internal combustion engine (ICE) versions.

Externally, the 2027 models boast revised front and rear bumpers, a new grille, and updated headlights and taillights.

The Trofeo variants stand out with aggressive bumpers, bespoke Pegaso forged wheels, and more exposed carbon fiber. Folgore models feature unique bumpers, copper badges, and illuminated side air intakes.

Inside, the cabin gets a new racing-inspired flat-bottom and flat-top steering wheel, an updated digital clock, and refreshed graphics across the three screens.

Buyers can choose from seven new exterior colors, including Green Jupiter Matte, Blu Denim, Bronze Lucido or Matte, Grigio Mistero, Rosso Velluto, and Oro Lirico.

The refreshed GranTurismo and GranCabrio aim to reignite Maserati’s sales momentum with a blend of classic GT charm and modern performance enhancements.
