Defending 450MX champion Jett Lawrence has retaken the lead in the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross 450 Championship Series with a 2-1 performance at the Unadilla National.
Hunter Lawrence, who entered the 9th round with a 12-point lead, extended it to 15 points after winning the first moto but suffered a crash in the second moto, resulting in a DNF.
Jett Lawrence won the second moto, tallying 47 points on the day and giving him a 10-point lead with four motos to go.
Jorge Prado had a strong day, taking P2 overall with 3-2 finishes, while Haiden Deegan upped his overall podium streak to four with a 4-3 day.
The 2026 AMA Pro Motocross 450 Championship Series standings currently have Jett Lawrence in the lead with 402 points, followed by Hunter Lawrence with 392 points, Haiden Deegan with 336 points, Jorge Prado with 311 points, and RJ Hampshire with 282 points.
The series will continue with the Budds Creek National, where Hunter Lawrence will look to close the gap and take the championship lead.
