Toyota Recalls 2024-2025 Land Cruiser, Mirai, Lexus UX and GX Models in North America

Toyota has issued a safety recall for certain model year 2024-2025 Land Cruiser, Mirai, Lexus UX, and GX vehicles in North America. Approximately 82,000 vehicles are affected in the U.S. The recall addresses a software glitch in the 12.3-inch combination meter display that may cause it to go blank during startup, preventing critical warnings and indicators from appearing to the driver. This failure violates federal safety standards, as drivers could be delayed in receiving essential alerts, increasing the risk of a crash or injury. Toyota will notify all known owners by late July 2026, instructing them to bring their vehicles to a Toyota or Lexus dealership for a free software update.
