The changes, announced 1 Sept, cover agricultural tracks and track systems, material handling equipment and snowmobile tracks. Michelin said the move supports its ambition to become “a leading player in off-highway mobility,” offering “comprehensive, innovative, and sustainable solutions”. The French group completed the sale of Camso’s chain and bias-ply tire product lines for the construction sector to Ceat Ltd a year ago. As of September, agricultural tracks and track systems previously marketed under Camso will be gradually rebranded as Michelin Bibtrack. The systems, including chain systems (CTS) and trailed crawler tracks (TTS), will adopt the Michelin brand without changes to their names. Michelin said the Bibtrack name reflects its agricultural heritage, with “BIB” referring to product families including Agribib, Multibib, Yieldbib, Axiobib and Evobib, which have been developed since the 1980s. In the material handling segment, industrial tires and wheels currently sold as “Solideal by Camso” will become “Solideal by Michelin”. The mobile tire fitting service “Solideal On-Site Service” will similarly be renamed “Solideal On-Site by Michelin”. Michelin said the changes would provide “greater consistency” across its material handling portfolio and reinforce the focus on the Michelin brand. In powersports, chains and systems for all-terrain vehicles and side-by-side vehicles, as well as snowmobile chains, currently marketed under Camso Powersports will instead be sold under the Camoplast brand. Michelin said the decision reflects the strength of the Camoplast name, which currently includes riding segments: trail, mountain, cross-country, utility and racing. The new Camoplast identity will be introduced gradually, starting in November 2026. This article is only available to subscribers – subscribe today Subscribe for unlimited access.
