Royal Enfield has unveiled the new Himalayan 750, a middle‑weight adventure tourer that brings a 743 cc twin‑cylinder, oil‑cooled SOHC engine to the brand’s lineup. The bike is available in five colour options – Siberia White, Aztec Green, Viking Bronze, Tectonic Black and Antarctic Silver – the latter adding a touring pack.
Engine and Powertrain
The Himalayan 750’s 743 cc twin delivers 55 PS of peak power at 7 000 rpm and 63 Nm of peak torque at 5 000 rpm, with 90 % of that torque available from 3 500 rpm. The unit is paired with an electronic throttle body, a slipper clutch and a 6‑speed gearbox. The electronic throttle body also enables cruise control.

Riding Modes and Electronics
Five riding modes – Road, Road Sport, Rain, Trail and Custom – adjust engine mapping, ABS intervention and traction control. The TFT Tripper dash is upgraded to include Google Maps mirroring, TPMS data and a dedicated switchgear set‑up.

Chassis and Suspension
The bike uses a box‑section spine frame with the engine as a stressed member. Front suspension consists of Showa 43 mm USD forks with 190 mm travel, adjustable for compression, rebound and preload. Rear suspension is a Showa mono‑shock with 170 mm travel, adjustable for preload and rebound via a remote dial.

Dimensions and Weight
The Himalayan 750 measures 2 185 mm in length, 840 mm in width, 1 450 mm in height, with a 1 522 mm wheelbase and 205 mm ground clearance. The seat height is 815 mm, kerb weight 224 kg and it carries a 17.8‑litre fuel tank.

Wheels, Brakes and Tires
It rides on 19‑inch front and 17‑inch rear wheels, fitted with 110/80‑R19 front and 150/70‑R17 rear radial tyres. Braking hardware features twin floating discs at the front and a single disc at the rear, both controlled by dual‑channel ABS, traction control, cornering ABS and lean‑sensitive traction control.

Additional Features
All‑LED headlights, a key‑based immobiliser, dual USB‑C ports (27 W and 10 W), TPMS, self‑canceling turn indicators, a panic‑braking alert and the Wingman 2.0 4G connectivity system are standard.

Antarctic Silver Touring Pack
Choosing the Antarctic Silver variant adds heated grips, hand guards, a Givi top box, Givi hard panniers and an aluminium sump guard. Design-wise, the bike adopts a function‑over‑form approach with a height‑adjustable front windscreen, split seats for comfort and an upswept exhaust for water‑wading clearance.
