India’s compounded rubber exports surged 45.8% year-on-year in the first quarter of fiscal year 2026-27, rising from 4,476 tonnes in April-June 2025-26 to 6,526 tonnes in the same period this year. The Indian Department of Commerce highlighted the growth in a 21 August social media post, attributing it to “rising demand and expanding opportunities for Indian rubber products in global markets.” The momentum underscores the growing global footprint of India’s rubber sector. For the full fiscal year 2025-26, compounded rubber exports increased 12.7%, climbing from 17,085 tonnes in 2024-25 to 19,261 tonnes. The data reflects a steady upward trend in India’s rubber trade, driven by international demand.
