Honda’s tiniest kei pickup tops out at 55 mph—but it’s wearing race rubber

A 1994 Honda Acty SDX kei pickup, never sold new in the U.S., has surfaced on Bring a Trailer with a curious blend of track-ready hardware and street-unfriendly limits.

This second-generation Acty was imported from Japan in 2022, repainted in Sonic Gray Pearl, and now wears a bespoke interior featuring a red suede headliner, black leather seats with red contrast stitching, and a Momo steering wheel.

Under its tiny hood sits a 656 cc three-cylinder engine rated at 38 HP and 40 lb-ft (54 Nm) of torque when new; the seller estimates the worn unit now tops out between 50–55 mph. The odometer shows roughly 84,000 km (52,000 miles).

The most eye-catching modification is the wheel-and-tire package: 13-inch black ABR wheels wrapped in 225/45 Toyo Proxes R888R semi-slicks, a combination far removed from a typical working kei truck.

While the Acty’s practicality is minimal by American pickup standards, its nimble size and playful setup could appeal to collectors chasing something small, quirky, and unexpectedly fun on twisty backroads.
