Eni and the BMW Group have announced an agreement to power BMW corporate fleets in Italy with Enilive HVOlution, a diesel biofuel produced from 100% renewable feedstocks.
The BMW Group considers 100% pure HVO as an important solution towards reducing CO₂ emissions, with Enilive HVO achieving an average CO₂eq emissions reduction of 79.5% compared to fossil fuels in 2025.
The agreement follows the announcement that Eni and BMW Italia are collaborating on sustainable mobility initiatives, including the use of Enilive HVO diesel biofuel.
The BMW Group has approved the use of HVO diesel fuels for its diesel models registered from late 2014 onwards, and is developing a technical solution to seamlessly trace the fuel used by each vehicle.
Enilive HVOlution is available at around 1,700 Enilive Stations across Italy, Germany, and Austria, and can be used in all validated diesel engines without requiring modifications.
The partnership aims to support the decarbonization of road transport and represents a significant step towards a more sustainable mobility future.
