A British Icon Returns With 720 Horsepower

AC Cars celebrates its 125th anniversary with the launch of the new Cobra GT Coupe, a high-performance car featuring a Ford-sourced 5.0-liter V8 engine with up to 720 horsepower. The car starts at $315,000 for the 443-hp version and $345,000 for the 720-hp model.

With a curb weight of around 3,500 pounds and a 50:50 weight balance, the Cobra GT Coupe is expected to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds.

AC Cars aims to increase production from 100 to 1,000 cars per year, with the new coupe, roadster, and classic versions set to be offered.

First deliveries are slated to begin in 2028, with both left- and right-hand-drive models available.
