2027 Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition First Look: The White Hyperbike

Suzuki is dialing up the exclusivity for its next-gen Hayabusa hyperbike with a striking new Special Edition.

The 2027 Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition rolls out in a head-turning Pearl Brilliant White and Metallic Oort Gray paint scheme, complete with a color-matched passenger seat cowling for a sleek solo stance.

Priced at $20,399, it commands a $700 premium over the standard model, which sticks around at $19,699 and comes in Glass Sparkle Black or Metallic Reflective Blue.

The Special Edition’s aggressive styling cues include bold red accents on the wheels, fairing, tank, seat cowling, and tail section, while the iconic Hayabusa Kanji symbol stands out in black on the fairing’s leading edge. Black end caps on the muffler add to the menacing vibe.

Under the fairing, the powertrain remains unchanged: a 1340cc inline-four engine churning out 188 horsepower at 9700 rpm and 111 lb-ft of torque at 7000 rpm, paired with a six-speed transmission, quickshifter, and slipper clutch.

The chassis is equally robust, featuring a twin-spar aluminum frame, fully adjustable KYB suspension (4.7 inches front travel, 5.5 inches rear), and Brembo Stylema brakes with cornering-aware ABS.

Rolling on 7-spoke cast-aluminum wheels shod with Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 rubber (120/70-17 front, 190/50-17 rear), the Special Edition tips the scales at 582 pounds with a 5.3-gallon fuel tank. Estimated fuel economy sits at 35 MPG.
