Harley-Davidson’s 2026 Super Glide revives the iconic 1971 original as a limited-edition cruiser, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The new model slots into the Softail Cruiser family, ditching the controversial 1971 boattail but keeping the red, white, and blue color scheme and the spirit of the first factory custom.

Mechanically, it’s a near-twin to the Street Bob, sharing the Milwaukee-Eight 117 Classic engine, Softail chassis, geometry, rim sizes, and Dunlop tires.

The Super Glide’s $15,999 price matches the Street Bob with Chrome Two-Up trim, but the limited-edition model adds tubeless wire-spoke wheels, a 1-inch-larger tank-mounted dash, an extra 1.5 gallons of fuel capacity, and a flood of chrome replacing black paint.

The finish is White Onyx Pearl with red and blue striping, and every bike carries a serial number on the fuel tank console—one of just 2500 built.

Chrome adorns the mini-ape handlebar, engine covers, transmission cover, exhaust, wheel rims, air cleaner, side covers, fender struts, headlight, and turn signals.
