Hero MotoCorp has officially pulled the wraps off the new Xpulse 450 at EICMA 2026, marking the brand’s bold entry into the mid-capacity adventure bike segment.
Originally anticipated to carry the Xpulse 421 moniker, the production machine wears prominent 450 graphics on its side panels and rear number plate.
At its heart lies a 421cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, with estimated power output projected in the 40 to 45 HP bracket, though official performance figures are still pending.

The bike maintains the signature tall stance of the Xpulse lineup but beefs up its visual presence with bulkier bodywork around the tank and radiator.

The revealed livery pairs white panels with red-and-black graphics, gold-finished wire-spoke wheel rims, and bronze engine covers.
Up front, a tall transparent windscreen towers over a vertical headlamp assembly, accompanied by handguards, angular mirrors, and a wide handlebar. A narrow waist and long single-piece seat cater to active off-road rider movement.

Practical touches include a high-mounted exhaust with a massive metallic heat shield, a rear luggage rack, and tail mounting points.

Hardcore protection comes via a hefty engine bash plate, radiator guards, and tubular front-bodywork bars, while the front mudguard sits tightly over the 21-inch front wheel shod in block-pattern tyres.

Suspension duties are handled by gold-finished upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock, complemented by disc brakes on both ends featuring ABS tone rings. Detailed suspension travel, exact braking specs, and rear wheel dimensions remain unannounced. The tech suite gets a massive upgrade headlined by a large landscape-oriented TFT dash.
Cockpit shots reveal selectable Rain, Road, Trail, and Off Road riding modes, plus adjustable traction control, throttle mapping, and ABS settings. The display also integrates Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The new platform also shares its architecture with an Xpulse Scrambler concept leaked at EICMA.
Ready to do battle with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure, the Xpulse 450’s official pricing, launch dates, and market availability have not yet been specified.
