The BMW M2 is now available with M xDrive, an all-wheel-drive system that enhances traction and enables faster acceleration. The M xDrive system splits power between the front and rear axles, and when combined with the Active M Differential, it delivers improved agility, dynamism, and directional stability.

The new BMW M2 with M xDrive features a 3.0-litre straight-six engine with BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology, producing 353 kW/480 hp. The engine also features BMW M Ignite technology, a new pre-chamber combustion process that reduces fuel consumption under high loads.
The car’s fuel consumption is rated at 10.4-10.3 l/100 km, with CO2 emissions of 235-233 g/km. The market launch of the BMW M2 with M xDrive will begin in late summer 2026.
The M xDrive system can be configured via the M Setup menu, allowing drivers to adapt the characteristics and performance attributes to their personal preferences. The system also features a 2WD mode with DSC deactivated, which sends torque to the rear wheels only, providing a driving experience of remarkable purity.
