The 2026 American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) study has delivered a clear verdict: Lincoln beats Cadillac in customer satisfaction, securing a score of 76 out of 100 and placing sixth among luxury brands. The results, based on 6,699 random consumer surveys conducted between July 2025 and June 2026, position Lincoln ahead of Acura (75), Infiniti (73), and Cadillac (69)—the latter suffering a dramatic 15-point drop compared to 2025.

Mercedes-Benz led the luxury segment with 81 points, followed by Audi (80), Lexus (78), Tesla (78), and BMW (76). The overall luxury segment average fell to 78, down two points from the previous year, driven by declines across nearly every measured category.
Fuel economy satisfaction dropped 3%, driving performance fell 2%, mobile app quality plunged 2%, and website satisfaction declined 2%. Complaint handling fell 4%, with the top grievances centered on service/dealer support, electrical/battery/software issues, and engine/powertrain problems.

Hybrid powertrains saw a 4% satisfaction dip, gas-powered vehicles fell 3%, and EVs also dropped 3%. In the mass-market segment, Ford ranked sixth with a score of 78, while the luxury segment’s broad decline underscores growing consumer dissatisfaction with key experience metrics.
