Kawasaki‘s KLE adventure family is growing with the addition of the KLE650, powered by a next-generation 649cc parallel twin engine.

The KLE650 shares the KLE500’s steel trellis frame and 21-inch front wheel, with a focus on touring and technology. Two versions are available: the KLE650 at $8799 and the better-equipped KLE650 SE at $9999. The KLE650 is unrelated to the KLR650, with a different engine, frame, and mission.

The KLE650 has a 649cc parallel twin engine, 6-speed transmission, and traction control and cruise control as standard. The SE version adds a quickshifter, 5-inch color TFT display, and tubeless wire-spoke wheels. The KLE650 has a steel trellis frame, non-adjustable KYB inverted fork, and linkage-assisted shock.
