Formula 1 owner Liberty Media’s acquisition of MotoGP is starting to bear fruit, with F1 hosting a special MotoGP exhibition during this weekend’s Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. While not an official joint race weekend—MotoGP is scheduled to race in Australia the same weekend—the event will feature four riders tearing around COTA in a track demonstration. The exhibition is set for Saturday around 11:30 am local time, just before Free Practice 3. The lineup features Dani Pedrosa riding a KTM, WorldSBK World Champion Nicolo Bulega on a Ducati, Andrea Dovizioso on a Yamaha, and Lorenzo Savadori on an Aprilia. MotoGP will also run an activation at the circuit to engage F1 fans and showcase future collaboration between the two racing series. Dani Pedrosa commented that the United States Grand Prix is a unique event and praised the speed, sound, and performance of the bikes.
