MINI 1965 Victory Edition: a motorsport legend reborn in special trim

MINI has unveiled the 1965 Victory Edition, a limited-run special model that channels the spirit of the brand’s greatest motorsport triumph—the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally victory by the Mini Cooper S, driven by Timo Mäkinen and Paul Easter.

The tribute edition is offered across three models: the MINI Cooper S, the MINI John Cooper Works, and the all-electric MINI John Cooper Works Electric.

Each version blends period-correct design cues with modern performance and MINI’s signature go-kart handling.

The exterior features Chili Red paint, Glazed White roof and mirror caps, a white stripe running from bonnet to roof and rear, and the starting number 52—all nods to the iconic 1965 rally car.

Additional touches include “1965” badging on the C-pillar, bespoke wheel hub caps, valve caps, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, entry sills carry “1965” lettering, the door interiors include a special dedication, and other subtle details reinforce the historic connection.

The MINI 1965 Victory Edition is available immediately, with fresh imagery released to highlight its sporty homage to rally history.

MINI has also published official WLTP consumption and emissions figures: the MINI Cooper S Victory Edition returns 6.7 L/100 km with 150 g/km CO₂ (class E), the MINI John Cooper Works Victory Edition returns 6.6 L/100 km with 149 g/km CO₂ (class E), and the MINI John Cooper Works Electric Victory Edition consumes 15.5 kWh/100 km with 0 g/km CO₂ (class A).
