Mercedes-Benz is opening a seasonal pop-up destination on the German island of Sylt this summer, dubbed the Sommerzuhause in Kampen, running from July 4 to August 30, 2026. The concept builds on last year’s experience, expanding its focus on personal hospitality, local partnerships, and modern mobility. Located at the corner of Kurhausstraße and Hauptstraße, the venue blends stylish design, culinary experiences, and electric vehicle showcases into a welcoming social hub. The program centers on guest interaction, relaxation, and inspiration, with curated events from Wednesday to Saturday including yoga sessions, culinary workshops, creative activities, and talks. A standout feature is the Longevity Days series with expert Nils Behrens, featuring discussions and experiences on health and wellness across three July dates. Evening After-Beach DJ sets round out the social calendar, while family-friendly activities invite younger visitors to participate. Culinary offerings are led by STURMHAUBE Sylt, a long-standing Mercedes-Benz partner. The venue also spotlights electric mobility with a rotating lineup of full-electric models, including the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé, the electric GLC, VLE, and G-Class, and the new electric C-Class available for test drives starting in August. The G 580 with EQ Technology posts a combined energy consumption of 27.9 kWh/100km and zero CO₂ emissions (CO₂ class A1), while the C 400 4MATIC electric delivers 18.5–14.1 kWh/100km with zero tailpipe emissions (CO₂ class A1). Complementing the experience is a limited-edition Porter Tote – Sylt Edition in collaboration with Berlin-based label VEE Collective, available at the venue and online through August 30, 2026. The initiative aligns with Mercedes-Benz’s 140th anniversary celebration of innovation, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to pioneering mobility solutions that blend technology, design, and customer-centric experiences.
