The 37th BMW International Open concluded its third round with a thrilling long drive event, dubbed ‘Launch Control’, on the 18th green. Long-drive champions Martin Borgmeier from Germany and Zack Holton from the USA led their respective teams in an adrenaline-fuelled exhibition match.
The competition featured other long-drive specialists, including Cassandra Meyer, Abby Marting, Bryce Verplank, and Bobby ‘Long Way’ Ray, all from the USA. YouTube star Brad Dalke, who had made the cut at the 37th BMW International Open, also participated in the event.
The long drive event provided a spectacular finale to the third round, with loud beats and thrilling drives entertaining the crowd. The event was the third edition of ‘Launch Control’ and was held in front of the main stand, transforming the 18th green into a long-drive arena.
