A viral video circulating on Chinese social media shows an off-road-focused Fangchengbao Bao 8 utilizing its advanced suspension to drive on just three wheels and evade a parking boot.
Filmed on a road in Jinshan Town, Lianyunggang, the dark green Bao 8 is seen pulling out of a parking space with its left front wheel lifted about a foot off the ground, effectively making the boot useless.

The vehicle achieves this feat thanks to BYD‘s advanced DiSus-P Ultra suspension system, which features dual-valve dampers allowing the car to raise one wheel off the ground.
While the system was designed to simplify wheel and tire changes without a jack or to help clear trail obstacles at speeds up to 9.3 mph (15 km/h), it proved useful for bypassing parking enforcement hardware.
According to BYD, the system delivers up to over 19,000 pounds of lifting force and can suspend a wheel in mid-air for up to 24 hours.
