Following the debut of the second-generation Tesla Roadster, digital artist Theophilus Chin has imagined what the EV would look like as a sporty family sedan. Using photos of the Hyundai Ioniq V production model—known for its resemblance to a Lamborghini sedan—as a donor vehicle, the artist infused Tesla styling elements, including a sharp nose with pop-down headlights, an extended front overhang, the Roadster character line, and pop-out door handles. The design combines a stretched Gallardo-style greenhouse with a sloping fastback roofline. The rear end adopts full-width LED taillights and quad nozzles in a massive diffuser, while omitting the active rear wing. While not as sleek as the 2008 Lamborghini Estoque concept, it could potentially serve as a replacement for the discontinued Model S. The fictional sedan is imagined with SpaceX technology to handle potholes, and electric motors to deliver strong performance similar to the Model S Plaid. Meanwhile, the actual Tesla Roadster is scheduled to enter production in 2028. The Thrust version, featuring cold-gas thrusters and a claimed 0-60 mph acceleration time of 0.81 seconds, will be priced at $250,000, while the flying Rocket trim will be invite-only. For buyers wanting a Lamborghini-style EV today, the Hyundai Ioniq V is available in China starting at ¥109,900 ($16,500).
