The upcoming Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 has been spotted completely undisguised as units start arriving at dealerships, following a teaser earlier this month. The new cruiser sports a more traditional silhouette compared to the X440 roadster, featuring a revised fuel tank with prominent Harley-Davidson lettering inside an orange-bordered, patterned graphic.
Other spotted tank finishes include blue, grey, and red, while Sprint branding is visible on the new side panel. The bike’s profile is defined by a scooped single-piece rider seat with a raised pillion section, raised pulled-back handlebars, and slightly forward-set footpegs positioned relatively close to the engine for a balance between cruiser styling and everyday maneuverability.

The wheelbase appears longer than the X440, and the rake angle looks revised. At the front, the entry-level cruiser rocks a circular headlamp with a bright surrounding trim, separate turn indicators, a compact front mudguard, and an absence of a large windscreen.

A circular instrument console sits above the handlebar mounting area alongside conventional keyed ignition and switchgear. Hardware details include upside-down front forks, twin rear shock absorbers, and alloy wheels with contrasting machined detailing, matching a style similar to the X440.

Disc brakes are equipped at both ends, paired with a front ABS sensor ring. The low-slung right-side exhaust features a metallic heat shield with three dark detailing strips and a new end can compared to the X440.

A small protective plate sits beneath the front of the engine, while the rear showcases a fatter tyre, a compact tail lamp, and separate turn indicators. Extensive black finishes contrast with machined engine fins and a bright exhaust heat shield.
The Sprint 440 is expected to share the X440’s 440cc, single-cylinder, air-oil-cooled engine and six-speed gearbox, though Sprint-specific output figures, tuning, or gearing changes remain unannounced. On the X440, this powertrain pushes out 27 bhp and 38 Nm of torque.
Manufactured in India by Hero MotoCorp through their partnership with Harley-Davidson, the cruiser-focused model adds another option to the alliance’s lineup alongside the X440 to target buyers seeking a traditional Harley silhouette. While X440 sales typically hover in the 2,000 to 3,000 units per month region, the upcoming Harley 440 Cruiser is expected to give sales a boost.
