BMW is expanding its 450 platform with the all-new 2027 BMW F 450 RR, powered by a 420cc parallel-twin engine that churns out a claimed 48 horsepower at 8,750 rpm and 32 lb-ft of torque at 6,750 rpm. The engine features a counterbalanced crankshaft for smooth operation and a 135-degree crankpin offset to deliver a unique exhaust note through its stainless steel underslung muffler. BMW notes that about 80 percent of maximum torque is already available at just 3,000 rpm. The bike utilizes a six-speed gearbox and offers multiple riding modes including Rain, Road, Race, and a rider-configurable Race Pro mode on the M Sport version. Suspension duties are handled by a USD telescopic front fork with rebound and compression damping adjustment, alongside a rear shock featuring preload and rebound adjustability. Braking comes courtesy of Brembo’s ByBre brand, paired with BMW’s lean-sensitive ABS Pro. Standard creature comforts include heated grips, all-around LED lighting, a 6.5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, and a USB-C charging port. The standard seat height sits at 31.1 inches, with optional high Sport and Low rider seats available to adjust the ergonomics. Additionally, forged aluminum is used for the foot levers and side stand. In the US, the 2027 BMW F 450 RR will launch exclusively in the M Sport variant, finished in Snaefell White paint with a white frame and M Sport graphics package, carrying an MSRP of US $7,815. Buyers can also opt for the Innovation Package—featuring BMW’s clutch-optional Easy Ride Clutch system—for an additional $330. Various factory accessories, bags, and protective guards are also offered.
