While the Toyota Camry is a stalwart in the mid-size sedan segment, it’s not the only option for those seeking all-wheel drive capability. In fact, there are several alternatives available in the new and used markets. Here are five options to consider. The Kia K5 is a strong contender, with its GT-Line model offering AWD for a lower price than the Camry.
The 2027 K5 GT-Line AWD comes with a 186-horsepower naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-pot and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen. The Hyundai Sonata is another option, with its SEL Sport model offering AWD for a slightly higher price than the K5. However, the Sonata has the advantage of a hybrid drivetrain option, which offers improved fuel efficiency. The Nissan Altima is also available with AWD, although its powertrain and interior features are not as impressive as some of the other options.

For those looking for a more premium option, the used Acura TLX is worth considering. The 2023-2024 TLX offers AWD and a range of features, including a 17-speaker ELS premium sound system and wireless phone charging. Finally, the Subaru Legacy is another option, although it’s no longer in production. The 2024-2025 Legacy offered AWD as standard and a range of features, including a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and adaptive cruise control with lane-centering.
While the Camry is a solid choice, these alternatives offer a range of options for those seeking AWD capability in a sedan.
