The Toyota Camry returns for the 2027 model year with an exclusively hybrid lineup, striking design, and advanced technology across five distinct grades: LE, SE, Nightshade, XLE, and XSE. Set to arrive at Toyota dealerships this fall, the 2027 Camry starts at a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price of $29,700, excluding Dealer Processing and Handling. Every model pairs the fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, delivering 225 net-combined horsepower on Front-Wheel Drive models and 232 net-combined horsepower on Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive equipped variants.

The LE FWD achieves a manufacturer-estimated 51 MPG combined rating. Power runs through an electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission, while a lithium-ion traction battery powers the electric motor generator for responsive acceleration. The available Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive system uses a rear-axle electric motor generator to manage front-rear torque distribution dynamically when slippery conditions or tire slip are detected.
Suspension setups include an optimally tuned MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear layout, with SE, Nightshade, and XSE grades receiving a sport-tuned suspension with dedicated springs and shock absorbers. Drivers can switch between NORMAL, ECO, and SPORT driving modes. Styled by CALTY studios in Newport Beach, California, and Ann Arbor, Michigan, the ninth-generation Camry features a hammerhead front design and standard LED headlights and daytime running lights.
Exterior and interior appointments vary by grade, ranging from the refined LE and XLE to the sporty SE, Nightshade, and XSE, which feature sport-mesh grilles, rear spoilers, and alloy wheels measuring up to 19 inches. Cabin options include woven fabric, SofTex-trimmed seats, leather-trimmed surfaces with shooting blade perforations, and a mix of leather and Dinamica microfiber-trim.
