GT World Challenge Europe Nürburgring: Team WRT Secures Overall Podium and Silver Cup Title, ROWE Racing Takes Gold Cup Lead

The GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS at the Nürburgring saw a successful outing for BMW M Motorsport crews. Team WRT’s Kelvin van der Linde, Charles Weerts, and Jordan Pepper finished second overall in the #32 BMW M4 GT3 EVO, securing the team’s first Endurance Cup podium of the season.

Meanwhile, the #30 BMW M4 GT3 EVO crew of Matisse Lismont, Ignacio Montenegro, and Amaury Cordeel clinched the Endurance Cup title in the Silver Cup with a second-place finish. ROWE Racing’s Jens Klingmann, Tim Tramnitz, and Ugo de Wilde took the lead in the Gold Cup standings with a fourth-place finish in the #998 BMW M4 GT3 EVO.

The three-hour race was marked by several Safety Car periods, with the #32 Team WRT car steadily working its way up the field from eighth on the grid. The Oman Racing by Century Motorsport #42 BMW M4 GT3 EVO finished fifth in the Bronze Cup, while Paradine Competition’s two BMW M4 GT3 EVOs finished seventh in both the Silver and Bronze Cups.
