Freudenberg Unites Aftermarket Operations in New Business Group

Freudenberg, a German technology group, is consolidating its global automotive aftermarket activities into a new business group, Freudenberg Aftermarket, set to launch in 2027. The move aims to broaden the company’s product and service offerings, providing customers with easier access to a wider range of aftermarket products, improved product availability, and enhanced technical support. The new structure is expected to facilitate faster introduction of products and technologies and expand digital capabilities. The business group will be led by Felix Schindele as CEO, alongside CFO Manuel Mares and COO Bryon Osterland. Freudenberg’s automotive aftermarket solutions currently include Corteco, part of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies and Freudenberg Filtration Technologies, which supply automotive seals, O-rings, gaskets, and vibration and noise control parts. The consolidation is part of the company’s efforts to strengthen its position in the global automotive aftermarket.
