Florida Man Allegedly Drove 90 mph with 34 Open White Claws on Passenger Seat

A 34-year-old Florida man has been arrested for driving under the influence after troopers pulled him over for speeding on Interstate 75 in Pasco County. Conor William Parady, of San Antonio, Florida, was clocked traveling over 90 mph (145 km/h) when a trooper initiated a traffic stop on June 13 near mile marker 280. During the encounter, authorities discovered 34 open White Claw cans scattered across the front passenger seat and floor of his Honda Civic. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reported that Parady exhibited signs of heavy intoxication, and a subsequent blood alcohol concentration (BAC) test registered 0.117—nearly 50 percent above Florida’s legal limit of 0.08. Investigators estimated that Parady likely consumed between eight and ten cans prior to his arrest, though the exact number remains unclear. The incident adds to Florida’s long-standing reputation for unusual traffic stops, but the sheer volume of open cans—enough to stock a small backyard party—makes this case particularly notable.
