In the late 1980s, before AMG became fully absorbed into Mercedes, the tuning house collaborated with Mitsubishi on a rare and unusual sports sedan.

The 1989 Mitsubishi Galant AMG features a naturally aspirated 4G63 engine, producing around 170 hp, and a full AMG aero package.

This genuine collaboration is now up for sale in Osaka, Japan, listed at 1,730,000 yen ($11,900), including fees. The car has a mileage of 92,600 km and has had its timing belt replaced.

The AMG-tuned Galant is a four-wheel-drive sedan with a four-speed automatic transmission, making it a unique piece of performance history that can be imported to the US due to the 25-year import rule. The listing can be found on TC Cars.
