The 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship Series is about to kick off, and predicting the first round at Fox Raceway in Pala, California, is going to be a challenge.

Despite the absence of Supercross Champion Ken Roczen, the field is stacked with talented riders, including Jett Lawrence, Hunter Lawrence, Jorge Prado, Eli Tomac, and Haiden Deegan.

Jett Lawrence is the favorite to win if he’s healthy, but his readiness to race two National motos is uncertain.

Hunter Lawrence comes into the Nationals with a score to settle after narrowly missing the Supercross title and will want to get off to a strong start.

Jorge Prado is a World Champion and will be motivated to rectify his inconsistent Supercross performance in the great outdoors.

Eli Tomac will want to re-establish his competitive credentials after a tough second half of the Supercross season. Haiden Deegan is a rookie on a 450 and will be a dark horse in the competition.

The Wild Card is P10, and it could be any of 20 riders, including Cooper Webb, RJ Hampshire, Malcolm Stewart, Aaron Plessinger, Dylan Ferrandis, Justin Barcia, or Valentin Guillod.

The 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship Final Standings show Jett Lawrence as the champion with 509 points, followed by Hunter Lawrence, Eli Tomac, Justin Cooper, and RJ Hampshire.

The riders’ performance at Fox Raceway will be crucial in determining the top five and the Wild Card.
