The new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door starts at €154,700, which converts to $180,500 USD. This is a significant price increase of over $60,000 compared to the previous model.
The base model GT55 replaces the former GT53, and the new GT63 starts at €208,130, or about $242,000.
The electric powertrain offers performance parity, with the GT55 getting 805 horsepower and the GT63 having over 1,100 hp.
However, buyers may struggle to adopt EVs as replacements for their fuel-burning alternatives due to the higher cost.
US pricing has not been announced, and prospective buyers may find it slightly cheaper than the European-converted pricing.
