The third-generation Audi Q7 is set to break cover soon, with a teaser image giving us a glimpse of the luxury SUV. The new Q7 will be followed by the first-ever Q9 and will likely feature ‘first-class materials’ as promised by Audi.
The revamped Q7 will debut in the coming days and is expected to be a scaled-down version of the Q9, minus some top-end features. Details about the powertrains remain scarce, but V6 gasoline and diesel engines seem like a safe bet.

With emissions regulations becoming increasingly stringent, at least one plug-in hybrid with a sizeable battery is likely planned. The Q7 and Q9 are part of Audi’s lineup that will be revealed later this year, including the return of the A2 as a purely electric vehicle and the next-generation RS6 Sedan and RS6 Avant.
