Audi has revived the A6 Allroad with a bold new look and serious off-road chops, positioning it as a muscular alternative to premium SUVs like the Q5 and Q7.
The latest generation rides 34mm higher than the standard A6, packs rear-axle steering, and features a bespoke suspension tuned for rugged capability.
The headline visual is the RS6-inspired widebody kit, a first for the Allroad, paired with rugged Allroad-specific styling cues such as a honeycomb grille, gloss-black side intakes, flared arches wrapped in discreet cladding, and a rear bumper with faux vents and a skid plate doubling as a diffuser.

Buyers can choose between matte silver chrome or black finishes for the cladding, with options like aluminum roof rails and chrome-plated tailpipes.
The A6 Allroad’s chassis is all-new, featuring an active air suspension with up to 55mm of travel and a 15mm lift in the most extreme setting.
Comfort mode softens the ride for daily driving, while Dynamic mode drops the body by 20mm for sharper handling. Above 75 mph, the system automatically lowers the ride height by 20mm to boost efficiency.
The rear-axle steering turns the wheels up to 5 degrees against the fronts at low speeds, cutting the turning circle by up to a meter (3.3 feet), and up to 2 degrees with the fronts at higher speeds for added stability. European order books open on June 18, with first deliveries expected this fall.

German pricing starts at €77,250 ($89,600) for the V6 TDI and €80,250 ($93,100) for the e-hybrid plug-in hybrid.

US availability remains unconfirmed, though past Allroad generations have made the transatlantic leap.
Currently, the only new A6 sold in the States is the sedan, leaving American buyers without a wagon option until the Allroad potentially arrives.
