Audi’s 2027 A3 refresh: curved glass cockpit, remote parking, and sharper tech

Audi has rolled out a comprehensive update for the entire A3 family—hatchback, sedan, and crossover—bringing a freshened cabin, upgraded ADAS, and new parking tech.

The headline interior change is a single curved panoramic display lifted from the Q3 SUV, ditching the old dual-screen setup.

The 11.9-inch and 12.8-inch digital gauges tilt toward the driver and sit above an illuminated strip, but unlike pricier models like the A5 or A6, the A3 skips the passenger-side screen.

Personalization gets a boost with four new interior material packages: carbon fiber, Dinamica microfiber, a new “Light crepe” textile, and “Impressum black” fabric.

Safety tech is now tiered into Tech, Tech plus, and Tech pro, with Adaptive Cruise Assist Plus managing both speed and steering up to 210 km/h (130 mph).

Parking tech gets smarter too, with Park Assist Plus and Park Assist Pro now including remote parking and training functions that adapt to the owner’s habits over time.

Mechanically, the lineup remains unchanged, anchored by a 1.0-liter turbo three-cylinder (114 HP) at the entry level and the fire-breathing 2.5-liter five-cylinder in the RS3 (394 HP).

Plug-in hybrids offer either 201 HP or 268 HP with up to 143 km (89 miles) of electric range on WLTP, and their max towing capacity has increased by 300 kg to 1,700 kg (3,748 lbs).

The refreshed A3 range hits European showrooms by the end of September 2026, with German pricing starting at €31,850 ($36,300), the UK at £28,650 ($37,900), and the RS3 topping out at $68,500. US details are still unconfirmed.
