2027 Suzuki SV-7GXV First Look: $8,399 Crossover-Style Sportbike

Suzuki’s 2027 SV-7GXV is a budget-friendly, sport-touring crossover dressed in a no-frills Pearl Brilliant White livery, priced at $8,399 — $200 less than the SV-7GX.

The SV-7GXV is identical to its fairing-clad sibling except for the graphics-free paint scheme that highlights the blacked-out chassis and engine.

It’s built around Suzuki’s proven 645cc liquid-cooled, DOHC 90-degree V-twin, churning out tractable power through a 6-speed transmission with a quickshifter.

Rider aids include three drive modes and traction control, while a new 4.2-inch TFT dash links wirelessly to the Suzuki Ride Connect+ app for smartphone integration.

The upright sportbike’s ergonomics and forgiving chassis target sport-touring riders and daily commuters alike.

Under the skin, the SV-7GXV rides on a steel trellis frame, 41mm non-adjustable front forks, and a linkage-assisted rear shock with preload adjustment.

Braking comes from 290mm discs up front with Tokico 4-piston calipers and a 240mm disc at the rear with a Nissin single-piston caliper, all backed by standard ABS.

Rolling on 10-spoke cast aluminum wheels shod with Pirelli Angel GT II tires (120/70-17 front, 160/60-17 rear), the SV-7GXV tips the scales at 465 pounds with a 4.6-gallon fuel tank.

The bike’s wheelbase measures 56.9 inches with a 25-degree rake and 4.2 inches of trail, while seat height is 31.3 inches.

Suzuki dealers are now taking reservations for the 2027 SV-7GXV, though delivery dates for both the SV-7GX and SV-7GXV remain undetermined.
