With two rounds in the books, the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship Series is shaping up like a Lawrence family affair—until Thunder Valley National throws a curveball.
Jett Lawrence, fresh off a 1-1 at Hangtown, is on a four-round win streak at Thunder Valley Motocross Park and owns three straight 450MX overall victories.

His younger brother Hunter leads the series by six points after a 1-1 at Hangtown that cemented the Lawrence brothers’ dominance.
Haiden Deegan, despite finishing nowhere near the Lawrences at Hangtown, still locked down P3 by default.

European MXGP star Lucas Coenen arrives in peak form with five moto wins in his last six MXGP races, but Thunder Valley’s familiarity gives Deegan the edge for the podium. Coenen is slotted for P4 due to the strength of the riders ahead.
Jorge Prado rounds out the top five, boosted by his teammate Coenen’s presence, while Chase Sexton and Dylan Ferrandis lurk as alternatives.
RJ Hampshire is the Wild Card pick for P7 after a 6-7-5-7 run this season, edging out Sexton despite his penchant for crashing.
The 2026 Thunder Valley National is set to be a Lawrence showdown with Deegan and Coenen fighting for scraps, while Hampshire and Ferrandis battle for the Wild Card spot.

The series standings after two rounds: Hunter Lawrence (Honda, 94 points), Jett Lawrence (Honda, 88), Haiden Deegan (Yamaha, 75), RJ Hampshire (Husqvarna, 63), Chase Sexton (Kawasaki, 61), Dylan Ferrandis (Ducati, 59), Jorge Prado (KTM, 53).
