Ram has faced criticism for selling an AI-generated shirt on its website featuring a Tacoma, which is not a Ram truck. The shirt, available on the Ram Outfitters website, has several errors, including a Tacoma’s body shape and headlights, and a flag with 38 stars.

This is not the first time Stellantis has used AI for promotions, and the company has a reputation for rebadging vehicles and keeping platforms in production for decades. The shirt has since been removed from the website.

Stellantis has previously been caught using AI-generated images, including on the Dodge Instagram account, where they posted ‘throwback’ photos of older cars that were not accurate. Ram’s use of AI-generated content has raised questions about the company’s commitment to authenticity and accuracy.
