Italian coachbuilder Castagna Milano is considering transforming the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio into a sleek two-door, two-seat sports car, provided it can find an owner willing to sacrifice their sedan for the custom build. The historic coachbuilder, which dates back to 1849 and was revived in the early 2000s, has released renderings of the proposed conversion. The dramatic modifications begin with moving the front seats, steering wheel, and dashboard 330 mm closer to the rear axle, altering the weight distribution and creating a much longer hood.
The build would feature all-new carbon fiber panels, a folding soft top, and custom wheels. Up front, the design incorporates claw LED daytime running lights reminiscent of current Peugeot models alongside the traditional Alfa Romeo triangular grille, aggressive dark air intakes, and a chin spoiler. The conversion would eliminate the rear doors, helping bring the car down to a weight of just 1,420 kg.

The rear end showcases thin LED taillights, stacked exhaust tips matching the Giulia Quadrifoglio, and a carbon fiber diffuser. While Castagna Milano has not yet detailed how it plans to compensate for the structural loss of a fixed roof, chassis reinforcement would be required to prevent flex. The car retains the stock twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 engine, a powerplant praised for its exceptional exhaust note.
