Scania is expanding its Brazilian portfolio with the new 11-liter Super truck range, set to debut at the Fenatran show. Since the initial launch of the Super line in 2022, the manufacturer has sold more than 25,500 trucks and served over 5,000 customers in the country, cutting CO2 emissions by over 686,000 tons compared to the previous generation.

A key feature of the new 11-liter range is Scania’s exclusive Fuel Optimization Unit (FOU), which raises the usable diesel from the tank from 87% to 97%. This extra fuel allows operators to either increase driving range or carry a heavier payload.

Maintenance has also been streamlined, with oil and fuel filters positioned side by side in the cooler section of the engine for faster access without waiting for cool-down. The 11-liter engine is offered in 390 HP and 430 HP outputs, featuring variable valve timing (VVT) and a compression release brake (CRB) to help reduce service brake wear.

Drive configurations include 4×2, 6×2, 6×4 for light construction, and an 8×2 layout suited for produce and farm goods. All configurations utilize the 14-speed Opticruise G25 transmission.
