Linglong Launches €500m Expansion Plan at Serbian Tire Factory

Linglong Tire has launched the second phase of expansion at its tire manufacturing plant in Zrenjanin, Serbia, with an investment of €500 million. This investment will make Linglong one of the most significant foreign investors in Serbia. The company has already invested over $1 billion (€870 million) in the first phase of the project. The expansion is expected to increase employment from 2,100 to 2,600 people. Linglong president Wang Feng stated that the company is investing in automation, green production, environmental protection, logistics, and exports. The second phase of expansion is intended to add an annual capacity for 1.1 million radial tires, including 800,000 truck and bus tires, 150,000 agricultural tires, and 50,000 engineering tires. Construction is expected to start in January 2025 and be completed before the end of 2030.
