Team Schubert secured valuable points in the DTM championship at the Lausitzring, with Marco Wittmann finishing fifth and eighth in the two races, and Kelvin van der Linde taking ninth and tenth places. The BMW M2 Cup made its debut, with Michael Schrey winning both races. In the ADAC GT Masters, the Holzem brothers won their first race, and Leyton Fourie and Tim Zimmermann took the overall lead. Wittmann is fourth in the drivers’ standings with 71 points, while Schubert Motorsport leads the team standings with 119 points. The BMW M2 Cup’s debut was a success, with Schrey driving from pole position to victory in both races.
