Kenworth Unveils Two New Interior Color Schemes, Enhanced Cab Amenities

Kenworth has introduced two new interior color schemes and a range of cab amenities for six of its models, including the T680, T880, W990, C580, T680E, and T880E. The updated interiors feature modern wood trim accents, additional color options, and new trim packages. The Vantage interior is available in charcoal, while the Diamond interior is available in charcoal or titanium. Other updates include wireless phone charging, extra USB-C charging ports, updated heating and ventilation systems, and flexible options for configuring the instrument panel and storage areas. The company has also introduced an electronic parking brake as standard on all 2.1-meter cab orders. Additionally, Kenworth has announced the expansion of its Paccar Connect platform, which will include a voice assistant, camera integration, an applications portal, and connectivity to Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth. The platform will be available in early 2027 and will feature a touchscreen with physical rotary controls. The voice assistant will respond to over 250 commands in English, Spanish, and French, and can be activated by saying ‘Hey Kenworth’. The platform will also provide tools for fleet managers, including vehicle health monitoring, remote diagnostics, and idle time capabilities.
