India’s electric mobility sector is booming, with electric scooters being a significant contributor to this growth.
Within the electric scooter segment, there’s a growing demand for electric cargo scooters designed for last-mile delivery, logistics, and commercial applications.
Pune-based electric mobility startup Qargos has been testing its Qargos F9 electric cargo scooter, which boasts an impressive 225L boot space, surpassing that of some cars like the Maruti Suzuki Alto.

The Qargos F9 is designed with functionality in mind, featuring a dedicated storage compartment ahead of the rider’s seat, which can haul up to 120 kg of cargo.
The scooter’s design allows for maximum cargo capacity, with a compartmentalised storage system and two hinged doors.

The Qargos F9 is powered by a 6.1 kWh battery pack, which sends power to a 3.4 kW BLDC hub motor at the rear, promising a range of around 150 km on a single charge and a top speed of 80 km/h.
With its unique design and impressive cargo capacity, the Qargos F9 is an exciting development in the electric cargo scooter segment.
