Continental has officially expanded its 2027 sport touring lineup by introducing the ContiMotion EVO, replacing the fan-favorite ContiMotion. Engineered for everything from daily commutes to cross-country mileage, the new tire brings several technical updates while retaining the core durability of its predecessor. Christoph Ettenhuber, Head of Business Field Motorcycle Tires at Continental, emphasized that the tire blends intuitive handling with reliable dry and wet grip alongside impressive everyday longevity. The ContiMotion EVO integrates Continental’s EasyHandling technology alongside an optimized tire construction aimed at delivering predictable steering response. Confidence in variable weather comes courtesy of an optimized hybrid silica tread compound. Furthermore, high-speed stability sees a noticeable boost thanks to a ZeroDegree steel-belt construction and new carcass materials, while MultiGrip technology ensures smooth, homogeneous grip transitions without relying on multiple rubber compounds. Continental designed the tire to fit a broad spectrum of popular naked bikes, roadsters, and modern classics, specifically calling out compatibility with the BMW R12 nineT, Triumph Daytona 660, Ducati Supersport 950, Honda CB 650R, Suzuki GSX-8TT, and Yamaha MT-09.
