The 2027 Chevy Silverado 1500 is a big deal in the world of full-size pickup trucks. To see how we’d spec our ideal versions, we set four staffers loose on the configurator.
Carter Fry’s $41,720 Silverado 1500 Work Truck is a street truck with a regular cab, standard bed, two-wheel drive, and a bold Apex Red paint job.

He’s planning to modify it with aftermarket parts, including a lowering kit, Mickey Thompson wheels, and Nitto tires.
Eric Stafford’s $49,920 Silverado 1500 Work Truck is a regular-cab pickup with four-wheel drive, a 4×4-specific package, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat.

Caleb Miller’s $55,770 Silverado 1500 LT is a crew cab with a short bed, turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine, and adaptive cruise control. He upgraded to black-and-tan upholstery and added a Comfort and Convenience package.
Jack Fitzgerald’s $57,415 Silverado 1500 WT is a crew cab with a standard bed, 17-inch silver wheels, and a V-8 engine. He also added a WT Convenience package with remote start and extra 120-volt connections.
