Toyota Kirloskar Motor Posts 30,360 Total Sales in October 2026

Toyota Kirloskar Motor reported total sales of 30,360 vehicles in October 2026, including 29,521 units in the domestic market and 839 units in exports. Combined volumes declined 29.22% year-on-year from 42,892 units in October 2025, but improved 7.59% month-on-month compared to 28,218 units in September 2026. Domestic sales stood at 29,521 units, down 26.67% from 40,257 units in October 2025, though they grew 17.96% sequentially from 25,027 units in September 2026.

Exports dropped to 839 units, a 68.16% year-on-year decrease from 2,635 units and a 73.71% drop compared to 3,191 units in September 2026. For the second consecutive month, Toyota slipped behind Kia in sales, missing the top 6 spot, while top 5 car makers posted all-time high monthly sales in October 2026. Cumulative sales for January–October 2026 reached 3,25,274 units, marking a 3.03% increase over the 3,15,716 units sold during the same period in 2025.

Cumulative domestic sales rose 4.11% to 2,99,140 units, while cumulative exports fell 7.91% to 26,134 units. Sabari Manohar, Executive Vice President of Sales-Service-Used Car Business at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, noted encouraging festive-season customer interest and a positive response to the newly launched new Glanza hatchback, though specific sales or booking figures were not disclosed. The updated Innova Hycross is scheduled for launch later this month on the 26th.
